"If you want to improve your speaking skills and take your storytelling to a higher level, see IMMEDIATE and SIGNIFICANT improvement, you MUST have Tom Roberts as your speech coach. My work with Tom was well worth the investment because it showed immediate results  and it taught me a process to use in the future. It would have literally taken years to develop this on my own through research and experience."

Your Performing Edge (voice-over by Tom Roberts)

Build Your Business through Public Speaking

You are an expert and organizations want to hear experts who are speakers. Service clubs such as Rotary, Lions and others are always looking for speakers and just think of the business contacts who want to hear you!!  Learn to be a compelling speaker or you’ll waste their time and will be very, very forgettable. I’ll show you the traps to avoid.

There's a trick to promoting your business by public speaking, and it has a lot to do with not talking about your business. It's especially important to limit your promotion when giving a presentation. If you sound like your talk is one long commercial, you will not be asked back, and you will not gain new clients. Say what you do and the name of your company. It's even okay to throw in some examples that involve clients, but be very careful not to cross the line into advertising. I’ll show you how.

Be a resource to people. Teach them something new. Leave them wanting more. And make sure to bring your marketing materials and business cards so they can find you later. I’ll give you resources.

Use public speaking like any other marketing tool - it's fun, easy, and free, and the connections you'll make are priceless.
